Track Maintainers:  Full time.  Candidates are not expected to relocate but will be working across their seniority district on a 10 day on/4 day off cycle. 

Qualifications:  Good eye/hand coordination.  Frequently lifting weights up to 50 pds, occasionally 100 pds.  Physical and repetitious work in extreme weather conditions.  Working outside various conditions and exposure to dust, pollen, noise and vibrations.  Valid Driver's License.  Visual acuity and hearing threshold tests are required.  Position requires night, weekend and holiday work hours.   

Duties:  Track maintainers work outside inspecting tracks for defects and replacing or repairing work or broken rails, switch ties, spikes, rail anchors, etc.  Work as crew members to perform various maintenance, repair and replacement tasks. 

Conductors:  Good team work skills.  Some public relations skill, for example waving to people by the tracks.  Being physically fit for the job.  Knowing signals or referring to the signals book for correct information.  Good reading skills.  Technology and computer skills that apply to the job.  Ability to correctly analyze a situation and respond appropriately.   Working shifts, sometimes away from home in excess of 24 hours. 

Duties:  Building trains according to rules and client.  Switching and inspection of cars.  Working within company operating rules and safety procedures.   Knowing their territories.
