Depending on where you are in your job search or career planning we have programs to assist you.

Available Services:

  • Employment Counseling & Assistance with Career Planning

  • Job Search Skills: resumes, cover letters, interview material

Community Job Search Centre:

  • Access to fax, phone, computers, photocopier, Internet for job search

  • Job Board with local listings

If you have an active employment insurance claim; have been on EI in the past 3 years, or maternity/parental EI in the past 5 years you may be eligible to participate in the following programs:

  • Skills Development (training)

  • Self-Employment Program

  • Work Experience Program

Persons with Disabilities Program: (for those who Qualify)

·   Program is designed to help people with disabilities prepare for and obtain employment or self-employment. It can also help develop the skills a person requires to get and maintain a new job. It can provide financial assistance for: skills upgrading, wage subsidies, self-employment and others. 

T.R.A.D.E.S Program:

If you are interested in pursuing a career in the TRADES this program will assist by enhancing your “individual return to work action plan” based on your Skills, Abilities, Education & Training and help you explore all your Trades Options.
